  1. In reply to your last post about her, I nearly wrote that she looked unhinged but thought the better of it, then I read her biography and was glad I did as I didn’t know she had schizophrenia. I was almost in tears after reading her about her life.

      • That’s one of the benefits of growing up in Alaska: our teachers were actually among the highest-paid in the nation during my K – 12 years, and classroom sizes were blessedly small. And, our curriculum was surprisingly diverse! Books in the school libraries included ones about witchcraft, astrology, and even the satanic bible…no censorship, there!
