    • Beguiling eyes, indeed. Still, he sure could be a mean old queen when it suited him. But he does deserve kudos for appearing in “Myra Breckinridge”, one of the most bizarre movies of the early 70s, when bizarre movies were almost considered “normal” and you really had to stand out to get that Freaky Counter-Culture Badge… 😉

  1. I do like these and enjoyed a couple of Taylor/Brando ones recently. Where’s Marlon in this one or is that a particularly impressive example of his method acting… 🙂

  2. Personally I thought she did dang well in that movie. I heard friends told her not to do it because of the subject matter, but Taylor wouldn’t back down. Which was either gutsy or the smartest career move of her life. Maybe both?
    Also, Montgomery Clift. He had the most beautiful, saddest eyes. Sigh.
