Hazy Shades of Winter: More Songs from an Alternate Universe

Just a bit of silliness that meanders toward something more substantial, which is one of the hallmarks of Bonnywood. (At least I hope folks have noticed said hallmark.) To be fair, there are some very specifically-American things mentioned here (although I sprinkled in some transnational shout-outs), but really, overall, all nations on this planet are facing similar dilemmas, with slight variations in context and culture…

    • I once learned how to play the opening bit of “Tubular Bells” on a piano (long story) and… well, that’s about it, instrumentally speaking. But I can sing and dance with great gusto. I’m sure we can work something out…

  1. Hahaha. These are great. 😀 A couple more for your collection:
    – Bridge Over Troubled Water – Sly Donnie and the Stoned Family
    – Born to Run – Rudy and the Fall Guys
    – A Change is Gonna Come – Electorate Light Orchestra

    And it will come. 🙂

    • All three of your additions are great, but that last one is brilliant, to the point that I might have to steal the wordplay on ELO and work it into a blog post somehow, as I’m that enamored.

But yes, it WILL come. Hopefully before I grind my molars into mere stubs out of frustration…
